In
parallel to the monumental inauguration of the more than 4 meters
height Menorah which was set up at the BEN GOURION's airport in Tel-Aviv,
a great exposure having for topic " SALVADOR DALI : MESSAGE OF ISRAEL
", conceived and realized by Jean-Paul DELCOURT, will be inaugurated
in ISRAEL, the first of an itinerant exposure throughout the world
under the patronage of the ministries for arts, tourism and transport
of Israel. Indeed, since 1950 to 1980, SALVADOR DALI, wrote, illustrated, creates on the topic of the Judaism and the State of Israel in particular by illustrating the Bible of Jerusalem (105 illustrations), the ALHYA (25 lithographies), the Hymn of Hymn (12 engravings), the 12 Tribes of Israel (13 engravings and 12 tapestries), Our Historical Heritage (12 watercoloured engravings, raised with fine gold), the Lost Paradise (12 engravings), as well as the superb object book published by Ariane LANCELL, Moïse and Monothéisme (10 lithographies engravings printed with the hand on lamb skin), plus the originals gouaches of the DALI's sculptures and a plate in solid gold engraved by DALI himself, and many originals, as well as the sculptures low-relief, jewels, medals of the Menorah and the Wailing Wall. Dali also made portraits of Moshé DAYAN, GOLDA MEIR, BEN GOURON and SIGMUND FREUD. |
